One of the trench that is used in quality desiccation is QualityFunction Deployment. One of the factors which has been used in thismethod is accomplishing the house of quality and as a result isdetermining the degree of importance of the customer's requirements.Kano model is a kind of two dimensional model which help theproducers to divide the consumer's requirements in to five categoriesincluding, basic, performance, attractive, indifferent quality andreverse quality. In the survey by identifying the customer'srequirements we determine kind of them and then according to theimprovement ratio and the degree of importance is assigned. Thedegrees of importance can be used for completing the house of qualitywhich is one of the useful tools in QFD. This research is publicalgorithms that it can use for every product. For example it has beenused in Cement Company of larestan, product II Portland cement

Estimating the optimal number of clusters in an unsupervisedpartitioning of data sets has been a challenging area in recent years.These indices usually use two criteria called compactness andseparation to evaluate the efficiency of the performed clustering. Inthis paper a new separation measure for ECAS cluster validity index,proposed by Fazel et al. [1] is identified, which uses Jaccard distancein order to consider the whole shape of clusters. Jaccard distance usesthe size of intersection and union of fuzzy sets, giving the clustervalidity index more information about the overlap and separation ofclusters. This property results in high robustness of the proposed indexdealing with various degrees of fuzziness in comparison with ECAS.To test the efficiency of the proposed index in comparison with nineother indices existing in the literature, 15 data sets (3 existing datasetsand 12 artificial data sets) have been used. Computational resultsindicate robustness and high capability of the proposed index incomparison with previous indices

In this research, we use Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm tosolve cell to switch assignment problem (CTSAP) that is NP-hard. InCTSAP, there are cells and switches in which cells locations arepredetermined. The objective of problem is optimal assigning of cellsto switches with minimum cost. Here, we have two kinds of costs,handoff and cabling costs. Call handling capacity for every switchesare given and equal. The model of our work is single homed that iseach cell must connect to only one switch. The mathematical model isbinary and nonlinear.The program is coded by MATLAB 7.8.0 (R2009a). After estimatingparameters values of model, approving performance accuracy of codeand adjusting control parameters, the efficiency of algorithm bydetermining experimental problems compared to Ant ColonyOptimization (ACO) that is one of the best for solving this problem.Results show satisfactory performance of ABC algorithm

Despite the extensive use of failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) inthe manufacturing and services, emphasis on the results of this method withconcern to the disadvantages such as providing definitive results is notcorrect. This paper tries to clarify the main disadvantages of FMEAconventional method and explain the concept of cluster analysis andspecifications of different models of C-Means to classify harmful modes andeffects in the steel making factory of Iran's alloy steel company using FMEAand fuzzy clustering techniques. In this context, homogeneous harmfulmodes and effects based on occurrence, severity and frequency indicatorswith Fuzzy C-Means clustering (FCM) were identified. In this study, thefuzzy cluster analysis in terms of before and after improvement wasperformed by Data Engine 4.0 software. The results of this research will beuseful for researchers, managers, and safety professionals for developingpractical strategies in order to prevent the consequences of harmful modesand effects

The Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP) determines the relativeimportance of a set of alternatives in a multi-criteria decision problem.AHP has a hierarchial structure and based on pairwise comparisons ofthe project alternatives as well as pairwise comparisons of the multicriteria. Two separate algorithms have been presented for measuringthe inconsistency ratioes of pairwise comparisons matrix andhierarchical structure. In this paper these algorithms and one of theapproximation methods, have been extended for measuring theinconsistency ratioes and alternatives’ weights in fuzzy AHP. Anumerical example is used to illustrate these methods.

In this paper, to make flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP)more realistic, an operational factor is considered in its model. Thisfactor, which is called optimizing total consumed electric power permonth, is known as the most important factor in calculation of theelectric cost of the industries. Considering this factor, specificallyafter subsides elimination of the country, has became more important.In addition to this objective, two other common objectives, calledcomplementation time and critical work load of machines, areconsidered. To solve the multi-objective model, two algorithms,called multi-objective biogeography-based optimization algorithm(MOBBO) and multi-objective harmony search algorithm (MOHS),are developed and introduced to scheduling area for the first time.Finally, by developing some famous libraries of the problem,performance of the algorithms is compared statistically

The earned value management is a powerful and important techniquein analyzing and controlling the project performance. While it allowsexact measurement of project progress, it lets corrective actions in atimely manner. In fact, the earned value allows project managers tofind out any project time and cost deviations by calculating theperformance indices. In this paper, to improve the applicability of thetraditional earned value technique, we develop an integrated approachby combining statistical quality control charts with traditional earnedvalue technique, to monitor and control project time and costperformances. The results applied to a real construction projectcompete favorly against traditional approaches
