Abstract

Given the rapid pace of digital transformation in recent years, examining its impact on businesses, particularly in the banking industry, is of significant importance. Digital banking has not only revolutionized organizational performance through technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, cognitive intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning, but it also plays a crucial role in achieving sustainability goals. Sustainable digital banking entails balancing technological innovation, economic growth, social responsibility, and environmental preservation. In this regard, addressing sustainability requirements in digital banking and developing relevant models can help reduce operational costs in the banking network, optimize energy consumption, enhance financial inclusion, and improve service efficiency, ultimately contributing to sustainable development.
This study aims to develop sustainability strategies in digital banking by employing an integrated approach that combines the fuzzy Delphi method, interpretive structural modeling (ISM), and system dynamics. The research methodology is based on a systematic review of the theoretical foundations. After reviewing relevant articles and gathering expert opinions, 26 key variables related to digital banking sustainability were identified and validated. The primary objective of this research is to provide decision-makers and managers with a clear understanding of digital banking sustainability, analyze the causal relationships between variables, and explore various scenarios for achieving sustainable development in this domain.
