Abstract
Managing the pharmaceutical supply chain in the context of economic sanctions faces specific challenges and risks. In these circumstances, sanctions can have serious impacts on the supply chain and the performance of this sector .For risk management in the supply chain, especially in the pharmaceutical industry, there is no complete and accurate model that can identify and analyze the various components and dimensions of this phenomenon. In this study, an attempt was made to analyze the results and achievements of previous research through content analysis using the meta-synthesis method. Out of 113 articles reviewed, only 19 articles were selected for analysis
Finally, various aspects of pharmaceutical risk management under economic sanctions were classified into 3 main dimensions including internal, external, and logistical and financial risk, 14 sub-dimensions, and 29 characteristic codes. Then, using the structural equation method and based on the basic model presented in the meta-synthesis method, a proposed model for supply chain risk management under economic sanctions for the pharmaceutical industry was presented. The results of distributing a questionnaire among 38 pharmaceutical company managers in Golestan Province showed that the proposed model can effectively fit risk under economic sanctions
