چکیده
در این مقاله بعد از بیان مقدمه ای تفضیلی از دلایل روی آوردن سازمان ها به مهندسی مجدد فرایند کسب و کار، مهمترین ویژگی های این فرایند با تاکید بر فناوری اطلاعات معرفی شده و نتایج چند مطالعه عمده درباره زمینه های بکارگیری فناوری اطلاعات برای پیاده سازی آن تشریح در ادامه مهمترین عوامل موثر بر این فرایند با محوریت فناوری اطلاعات توصیف می گردد. سپس به ارتباط ویژه مهندسی مجدد و فناوری اطلاعات پرداخته می شود. در پایان عمده ترین کارکردهای مهندسی مجدد فرایند کسب و کار با استفاده از فناوری اطلاعات در افزایش بهره وری سازمان ها از نظر می گذرد.

This article sheds light on the main reasons of moving organizations toward business process reengineering and the basic characteristics of information technology based business process reengineering. Then the main information technology oriented effective factors in business process reengineering are described. Indeed specific relations between information technology and business process reengineering are described. Indeed specific relations between information technology and business process reengineering are reviewed. At the end of this article the main functions of information technology in this process are classified and defined.
